More than 30 musicians joined forces in this Brazilian mini-doc campaign musical of 9-minutes long. Performed on the soundtrack, Arnaldo Antunes, Margareth Menezes, Zélia Duncan, Nando Reis, Roberta Sá, among others. Indigenous & Forest Leaders Ailton Krenak, Angela Mendes, Benki Piyãko, Glicéria Tupinambá, Tsitsinã Xavante lead the curation of this “art piece”.
The initiative is called 1000 Villages, by Boa Foundation, inspired by Indigenous philosopher Ailton Krenak on his book ‘Ideas to postpone the end of the world’. The main focus is to support one thousand indigenous villages towards sovereignty, bringing awareness and support to the Amazon.
